Ogunquit Art, Community, and History

April 18th through November 16th

The Ogunquit Museum of American Art’s 2025 exhibition schedule kicks off on April 18th, and will feature a slate of renowned regional and national artists. Contemporary artist Nicole Wittenberg, painter Henry Strater, and, beginning in May, indigenous visual artist Jordan Bennett will all have works on display, showcasing the unique landscapes and histories of the Ogunquit community.

Collect Art Sale

June 6th through June 8th

Maine College of Art & Design (MECA&D) will be holding its 2025 Collect Art Sale online and in person at the Institute of Contemporary Art. The annual fundraiser allows seasoned and novice collectors to engage with Maine artists. Proceeds from the event will help fund student scholarships at MECA&D—all the more reason to purchase a piece! The event will begin at 11am each day, ending at 8pm on the 6th, 5pm on the 7th, and 2pm on the 8th.

Summer Soirée

May 24th from 4pm to 7pm

Join KW Contemporary Art for their annual Summer Soirée in Kennebunkport, marking the opening of their Summertide group show and commemorating the gallery’s 5-year anniversary. Contemporary works from new and current artists will be on display in a vibrant showcase capturing the spirit of the summer.

Falmouth Kitchen Tour

May 10th from 10am to 4pm

May 10th marks the 10-year anniversary of the Falmouth Kitchen Tour; a self-guided tour of some of Southern Maine’s most beautiful kitchens. With special guests—from chefs to cookbook authors and more—the tour promises to be an engaging experience.
