On April 12, Decor Maine hosted our first-ever event to celebrate the release of the 2023 “Into the Garden” issue. It was a magical evening in Portland’s Maine Studio Works, whose interiors were transformed by the vision and hard work of sponsors One Stop Event Rentals, Pierson Nurseries, Fresh Pickins, and Gregory Lombardi Design. Magical floral arrangements lined the tables and hung from the ceiling, making it feel as though we had stepped out of industrial Portland and into a secret oasis.

Guests were invited to Maine Studio Works for an enchanting evening filled with floral arrangements and trees, spring-inspired bites and sips, and warm conversation and community.
From left to right: artist Dan Dowd, photographer Erin Little, and designer Abigail Shea of Abigail Shea Interiors.
Designer Krista Stokes shows off fabulously pink hair—we’d expect nothing less from this stylish icon!
Artists John Bisbee and Emilie Stark-Menneg brought light and joy to the atmosphere.

Another warm thanks to sponsor 58 Culinary for providing delectable bites and drinks throughout the evening, utilizing fresh produce and flavor in every bite. The cocktails paired perfectly with the hors d’oeuvres and matched the flowery theme with floral extracts and flavors in every sip. Talented duo Harry and Lyss Hodson, as well as Lauryn Hottinger, captured the whole evening through photography and film, so we can relive the highlights long after the flowers have been cleared away.
